We are keen to hear from non- training Registrars looking for an opportunity starting January 2026 for either a six or twelve month post in Ophthalmology at Rotorua Eye Clinic. The Rotorua Eye Clinic www.rotoruaeyes.co.nz is a privately owned Ophthalmology clinic providing a service to patients from as far as Auckland and Taumaranui, Waikato and Eastern and Western Bay of Plenty. The Rotorua Eye Clinic is under contract with the Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand - Lakes to provide public services to patients. You will enjoy a high level of support and training from consultants and other senior medical staff. The Lakes region is a fantastic place to live and play, there are many spots to explore from geothermal wonderlands, to the stunning lakes in summer, skiing in winter down the road by Taupō, to the beach less than an hour away, and the infamous redwoods for grounding walks and fun mountain bike trails. - Three written references on the attached national reference template form or a RP6 form for international applicants – referees will not be contacted; they must be written via these forms.
