The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations and overall management of an almond orchard, ensuring optimal production and team performance. This is a key leadership position within our farm operations team. Key Responsibilities:·       Lead and manage all farm operations, including labour and machinery coordination.·       Implement and monitor horticultural programs, irrigation schedules, and fertigation systems.·       Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.·       Manage budgets, stocktakes, and financial reporting related to farm operations.·       Oversee crop health, orchard maintenance, and seasonal harvest activities.·       Supervise and develop a skilled farm team to achieve production goals. Skills & Experience Required:·       Minimum 5 years’ experience in farm or orchard management, preferably in almonds or other tree nuts.·       Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related discipline preferred.·       Proven leadership skills and ability to manage diverse teams.·       Strong knowledge of irrigation, machinery operations, and WHS regulations.·       Excellent organisational, communication, and computer skills. Benefits Include:·       Competitive salary package: $100,000 - $130,000 + superannuation.·       Company vehicle provided.·       Opportunity for long-term visa sponsorship under the 482 or 494 programs.·       Stable, full-time permanent employment in a growing agribusiness. How to Apply:Submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the above criteria to Nick Wickham [email protected]Applicants from overseas with suitable qualifications are encouraged to apply.
