Skilled Formwork Carpenters | Dunedin - 12 - 18+ months work for 10+ Carpenters - Visa Variations available for AEWV workers - Relocation and accommodation assistance for this Dunedin based project We’re currently looking for skilled Formwork Carpenters to join our client on the Dunedin Hospital Inpatients building, a major project that's helping shape the future of healthcare in the region. You’ll be building and installing formwork for concrete structures like walls, columns and slabs, all while working from plans and making sure everything’s built to spec and up to standard. This is a project of work that will be highly sought after and because of that, we are able to assist with relocation and are able to support with Accredited Employer Work Visas variations. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing crew on a long-term job with strong workflow and reliable hours. The project is a minimum of 12 months work with a high likelihood to extend to up to 3 years. What We’re Offering: - Hourly rate of $28–$35, depending on experience - Relocation support for the right candidates - Visa variation options for eligible applicants already in NZ - A guaranteed 12 months of work, with a high chance of extension up to 3 years - A stable, well-run site with strong health & safety practices What You’ll Be Doing: - Building, installing, and removing formwork for concrete pours - Reading and working from construction drawings - Working with a team to meet project deadlines - Keeping a safe and tidy work environment - Coordinating with other trades and site supervisors to keep things running smoothly What We’re Looking For: - Previous experience in formwork carpentry (commercial or infrastructure work preferred) - Ability to read plans and measure accurately - Good awareness of site safety - Your own tools and reliable transport - A valid NZ work visa or residency (we can support variations for the right candidates) If this sounds like you, Apply now or send your CV to caleb@franklinsmithgroup.co.nz
