Business Unit The Marketing Manager role will be a subject matter expert leading the day to day work on Samsung’s Home Entertainment (HE) – Integrated Marketing (IM) division, which supports TV, Audio and Memory business, reporting to the Director - Digital. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for building relationships with cross-functional teams and agencies, responsible for planning and implementing best in class strategy with focus on organic growth. This position is part of a fast-paced, dynamic digital team responsible for a growing business. The Manager should have vision and “big picture” thinking to identify new opportunities throughout the consumer journey to grow awareness, engagement and conversion, while also having strong attention to detail. Ability to manage internal stakeholders across the organization, and agility to influence and collaborate across other vertical teams in a highly matrixed environment. THE POSITION
  • Manage the strategy and execution across the Consumer Decision Journey on Samsung.com for the Audio and Memory category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Audio and Memory marketing activities on Samsung.com including the strategy/development of local marketing pages, the localization of globally developed product/marketing pages and the optimization of the user experience.

  • Help develop and execute an integrated digital advertising strategy across key digital touchpoints, to ensure communication of key promotions and other.com initiatives • Brief and optimize SEM and SEO efforts • Lead strategic promotions work streams for S.com to drive sell-through. Provide and prepare presentations for regular executive share-out.

  • Develop clear, concise briefs for creative agency, drive timelines for asset development, and lead internal reviews with key stakeholders.

  • Work with the performance analytics team to identify and lead the real-time optimization of marketing across Samsung.com

Qualifications
  • Heavily knowledgeable with direct, working-level experience in developing reporting, measurement and insights across full-funnel media campaigns and programs.
  • Should have a minimum of 8+ years of media data, analytics and insights experience (paid search/ social, display, affiliate marketing and ecommerce/CPG).
  • Direct experience standing up MMM/MTA measurement and the understanding of the components and metrics of MMM/MTA—must demonstrate this knowledge and experience.
  • A positive “all-hands-on-deck” attitude and willingness to get the job done
  • Passion for problem solving, critical thinking and digging into data and analytics to identify solutions and areas of optimization.
  • Problem solving and Decision making
  • Help drive major investment planning decisions based on learnings from MMM on relative performance of marketing vehicles
  • Help drive real-time optimization of media vehicles by leveraging MTA
  • Help identify longer term media/marketing performance trends to uncover untapped opportunities or reduce marketing inefficiencies
  • Reporting approach, frameworks, ways to synthesize and showcase data and findings, etc are all under their authority to make decisions—this should then be communicated and aligned on by the Paid Media Lead.

  • Strong knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

  • Strong knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
