Hospitalist – Buffalo, NY   Job Type: Full-time Hospitalist, Days (2025 Opening) Specialty: Internal Medicine. Family Medicine Experience Level: Board Certified / Board Eligible Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our large hospitalist practice in 2025. In Buffalo, NY Hospital is Buffalo General Medical Center, part of Kaleida Health. Buffalo General Medical Center is our flagship site with 484 beds, all specialties except OB/GYN, closed ICU, about 15-16 per physician, census around 200 daily Schedule could be 7/7 or other option if available on the team Full specialist support (Hospital has Residents/Fellows/Stroke Team/Cardiac Team) Team of Physicians and APP’s (over 80 providers) Strong leadership, mentorship Current EMR is Cerner, moving to EPIC This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, managing complex cases, and ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare provider Conduct thorough evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies Respond to urgent medical situations and provide critical care when needed Participate in code duties as required by the hospital   Key Responsibilities - Provide full-scope hospital services - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. - Participate in on-call rotation with a supportive group of physicians. - Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems.     Qualifications Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school Licensure: Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; valid medical license in the New York State Skills: Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) system Board Certified or Board Eligible     Package · Annual Base $260-$280K · Full Time Employment, Overtime available · No Call · CME & Dues/ Publications Paid · Malpractice Insurance Paid · 403b & 457 retirement · Sign on bonus eligible · Paid time off · Relocation assistance · Supports J1 and H1B candidates     Why Join Us? - Established practice with strong mentorship and support - Supportive administration and clinical staff.
