Amuni is a contemporary wine bar, restaurant and pizzeria specialising in exquisite Mediterranean food right in the heart of the new west coast hot spot, Port Coogee.There is a wide ranging wine selection , cocktails, a mouth watering menu and a traditional wood fire pizza.Job Summary:
The Chef de Partie, or Station Chef, is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant’s standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene. This role requires technical culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Manage a specific kitchen section (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, cold kitchen) and ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in menu planning, portion control, and daily preparation of ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the assigned station.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
  • Ensure all food is stored, handled, and cooked according to food safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and apprentices, in your section.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during lunch and dinner services.
  • Participate in the development of new recipes and menu items, when requested.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or relevant professional training preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Pay: $76,515.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
