The Senior Domain Data Architect will design and develop Domain IT architecture solutions to address business problems in alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards, while mentoring developers and collaborating with System Architects. Responsibilities: • Utilizes in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in Domain Architecture and basic knowledge of related job disciplines to perform complex technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for Domain solution delivery. • Solves complex problems and partners effectively to execute broad, continuous Domain level architecture improvement roadmaps that impacts the organization. • Works independently, receives minimal guidance and direction to solve for and influence Enterprise and System architecture through Domain level knowledge. • Reviews high level design to ensure alignment to Solution Architecture. • May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. • Mentor developers and create reference implementations/frameworks. • Partners with System Architects to elaborate capabilities and features. • Delivers single domain architecture solutions and executes continuous domain level architecture improvement roadmap. • Actively supports design and steering of a continuous delivery pipeline. • Plans Architecture runway for a full solution and fosters built-in quality for entire solution. • Establishes and supports definition of Non-Functional requirements. Qualifications: Required: • 4 years relevant experience in Domain Architecture preferably in the delivery of single domain architecture solutions. • 3 years relevant experience in Data Architecture required with delivery of one or more domain data architecture solutions. • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred: • Overall 10+ Years of IT experience. • Knowledge/experience in any of the following: Architecture Strategy development and execution, Roadmap (Business and Technical) development and execution, Guiding Principles development and alignment, Standards development and alignment, Data Technology Evaluations, Enterprise-level decision making. • Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect, System Architect, or a similar role, with a focus on any of the data capabilities such as Master Data Management, Operational Data Stores, Data Warehouse/Marts, Data Lakes. • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies. • Experience with any of the cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Experience with any of the data platforms such as Snowflake, Red Shift, BigQuery, Oracle, Databricks, etc. • Experience with Lakehouse architecture and open table formats such as Apache Iceberg, Delta tables, etc. • Experience with various data integration tools such as Mulesoft, IIB, MQ, Informatica, Matillion, FiveTran, etc. • Exposure to large-scale data processing and distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, MapReduce, etc. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively. • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, driving successful implementation of automation initiatives. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. • Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and actively contribute to the scientific community through presentations and collaborations. • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
