ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Beauty Therapist to work in a quality assurance capacity alongside our student trainees.Our students practise beauty treatments on models who attend the College for complimentary services.The role of the Beauty Therapist is to assess and refine treatments performed by students, ensuring every model leaves with a professional, client-acceptable finish. This is essential to maintaining our model retention program, which directly supports student training outcomes.You will work across the full range of services offered by the College. Some days it is nails; other days it is facials, lash extensions, waxing or head spa treatments. The variety is the role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess and retouch beauty treatments performed by students across multiple disciplines to ensure a high-quality finish for models
• Deliver services across a range of beauty modalities including nails (acrylic, gel and dip powder), facials, lash extensions, waxing, body treatments and head spa treatments
• Support the training environment by demonstrating correct techniques and industry-standard finishes
• Maintain a positive model experience to encourage regular return attendance
• Adhere to infection control, workplace health and safety, and hygiene standards at all times

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Diploma of Beauty Therapy or equivalent
• Demonstrated competency across multiple beauty modalities including nails, facials, lash extensions, waxing, body treatments and head spa treatments
• Experience assessing and refining work performed by others to a client-acceptable standard
• Experience working within or alongside a training or educational environment
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an in-person skills assessment at the College, demonstrating competency across the required modalities. DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Vietnamese and Chinese language skills
• Familiarity with RTO training environments and student practical assessment
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior or trainee staff
