Location: WolverhamptonJob Type: Full-time (6 days per week)Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship opportunities available About UsOur client is one of the UK’s leading Indian catering and food production brands, known for authentic flavours, innovation, and quality. They cater for weddings, large-scale events, and wholesale clients across the UK. They are expanding their production team and looking for an experienced Indian Sweet Maker to join their growing kitchen team Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a wide range of traditional and modern Indian sweets (mithai), such as: Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Jalebi, Barfi, Ladoo, Peda, Kaju Katli, etc.
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and authenticity in all sweet products.
  • Manage production quantities efficiently for catering orders, retail packaging, and wholesale supply.
  • Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and production standards.
  • Assist in recipe standardisation, scaling, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery for large events and retail orders.
  • Contribute to innovation — developing new sweets or fusion desserts.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Halwai / Indian Sweet Maker (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Indian sweets, ingredients, and traditional preparation methods.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced commercial kitchen.
  • Understanding of hygiene, safety, and allergen control standards.
  • Team player with a professional attitude and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work 6 days per week as part of a structured production rota.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in catering, sweet manufacturing, or hospitality production.
  • Familiarity with UK food production standards (training provided if required).
  • Basic English communication skills (spoken/written).
