Contract Type Fixed Term Contract About the role As an Assistant Professor in Product Design, you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of innovative high-quality teaching across all levels, including lecture based, seminar based and practical workshop-based teaching, along with final year project supervision and varied student support. Experience of working with industry partners on live briefs is also required. You will engage with the department and school by contributing to activities such as admissions days, department/school meetings, and taking part in Product Design events (such as attendance to New Designers with the students and the team). About you The successful applicant will have a proven track record in design and be responsible for devising and delivering teaching within the Product Design courses in the following areas: Integrated Product Design (including research through to concept stages), Human Factors and Ergonomics, and Research Methods for Design and Communication. You will also communicate clearly and be an effective and supportive team player.
