General Summary: About The Role We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer (Jenkins) to join our CI/CD infrastructure team supporting large ‑ scale machine learning verification. This role focuses on the operation and administration of Jenkins infrastructure that underpins software validation across our group . You will work as part of a growing team responsible for running Jenkins as a production service - ensuring reliability, scalability, and consistent CI signal for engineering teams. You will contribute to the ongoing operation and continuous improvement of CI systems that support high ‑ volume automated workloads and distributed test environments.
Responsibilities - Support the operation of Jenkins as a production CI service, ensuring availability, stability, and responsiveness.
- Contribute to Jenkins administration, including job and pipeline configuration, plugin management, and system updates.
- Oversee continuous integration systems and address infrastructure concerns by systematically triaging failures and determining root causes in coordination with the team.
- Assist with scaling and capacity management, including Jenkins agents, node lifecycle, and resource utilization.
- Maintain and improve system reliability and CI signal quality, including identifying and addressing infrastructure-related issues.
- Contribute to automation and tooling to reduce operational overhead and improve repeatability.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to support CI/CD workflows and improve pipeline stability.
What are we looking for? (Minimum Qualifications) - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or software engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and workflows, including build, test, and pipeline execution.
- Experience with Jenkins administration, including pipelines, job configuration, or plugin management.
- Experience working in Linux environments, with the ability to troubleshoot system-level issues.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have - Experience supporting or operating CI/CD systems at scale.
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.
- Knowledge of scripting (e.g. Python or shell) to support automation.
- Solid u nderstanding of infrastructure concepts such as compute, storage, and networking.
- Awareness of reliability, monitoring, and operational best practices in CI environments.

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 6+ months of experience with architecture and design tools.
- 6+ months of experience with scripting tools and programming languages.
- 6+ months of experience with design verification methods.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: - Applies ASIC knowledge to assist and support the defining, modeling, designing (digital and/or analog), optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting of IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high performance, high quality, low power products.
- Assists in the creation of architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and/or system simulations based on system-level requirements.
- Collaborates with team members to assist in the development of an implementation strategy that meets system requirements and customer needs.
- Supports the evaluation of process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use, and verification or similarly for custom circuit design/layout flow.
- Utilizes tools/applications (e.g., RTL to GDS Flow, Virtuoso) to execute and enable architecture and design of a specific part of a block/SoC or IC Package.
- Writes technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
Level of Responsibility: - Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.
- Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
