Post Summary**-** The postholder will work collaboratively with the wider TAP team, leading in-depth research, overseeing the systematic collection and analysis of data, and the formulation of date driven policy recommendations. The coordinator will be responsible for the design and implementation of several research and evaluation programmes supporting the key strategic objectives of TAP. The post holder will be tasked with translating research findings into actionable policy ideas and initiatives, driving the implementation of evidence-based strategies to advance the Trinity Access Programmes' mission of fostering equitable educational access.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract This is a specific purpose contract. The specific purpose of this contract is to conduct and deliver research evaluations, reports and academic papers relating to TAP's activities and interests, as identified in TAP research workplan and linked to the deliverables of the TAP Research & Policy plan which aims to evaluate and review a number of TAP programmes and to complete the longtidual research already commenced in schools outreach, the longer-term requirements of which, have yet to be evaluated and established. Employment is not offered on a permanent basis as it is expected that the work associated with the Research & Policy plan will be complete within a finite period.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€46,410 - €58,086 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
