QA Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer – Salesforce Location: North Carolina (NC) – Hybrid/Onsite Employment Type: W2 Only Visa: H1B Transfer Accepted Experience: 12+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer with Salesforce expertise to lead quality assurance initiatives for enterprise-scale Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, Salesforce platform testing, API validation, CI/CD integration, and Agile delivery environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing automation frameworks, ensuring end-to-end quality, and mentoring QA teams. Required Qualifications 12+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce QA Automation experience. Strong experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications. Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, Cucumber/BDD, or Provar. Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Triggers validation. Strong API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, or similar tools. Experience with SQL/SOQL for backend data validation. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Salesforce applications. Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations. Perform API testing and backend database validation. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices. Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Release Managers to ensure quality deliverables. Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution. Lead test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting activities. Develop QA metrics, dashboards, and quality reports for stakeholders. Mentor junior QA engineers and establish testing best practices. Technical Skills Automation Tools: Selenium, Provar, Cypress, ACCELQ, Katalon Programming: Java, JavaScript Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD Salesforce: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI CI/CD: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Test Management: Jira, Xray, TestRail Databases: SQL, SOQL Version Control: Git, Bitbucket Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform certifications. Experience with Financial Services Cloud, CPQ, or Salesforce integrations. Experience leading QA teams and enterprise-level testing programs. Exposure to performance testing and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
