Job Title: Software Tester - SDET Location: Minneapolis, MN / Dallas, TX /Denver, CO (Hybrid ) Visa: H1B transfer Type: Contract / Full-time We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our QA and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background combined with deep experience in test automation across UI, API, and backend systems. Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform UI test automation using Playwright (preferred) or Selenium.
- Develop API test automation using Karate, Postman, and related tools, with strong Java coding skills.
- Build backend automation using Karate, Python, and Java, ensuring data validation and integration coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical design discussions, and enforce quality standards.
- Execute tests, debug failures, and work closely with developers to resolve issues quickly.
Required Skills & Experience
- SDET expertise with strong proficiency in Java (must-have).
- UI Automation: Playwright (preferred) or Selenium.
- API Automation: Karate, API testing, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, Postman.
- Backend Automation: Karate, Python, Java, SQL/NoSQL DB validation.
- Experience designing test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and modern QA best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
