OverviewWe are seeking a talented and passionate Chef and pizza chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, ideally Italian kitchen and hospitality, with a flair for food preparation and presentation. This role requires leadership skills to supervise kitchen staff and manage food production processes, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and taste.
Duties- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu specifications, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.
- Monitor food production processes to ensure quality control and minimise waste.
Requirements- Proven experience as a Chef/pizza chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety practices.
