You will ensure that our leading research and innovation laboratories/studios continue to be accessible and inclusive, delivering world class collaborative research while creating opportunities for enterprise, skills development and impact for the region.

You will also be responsible for managing and scheduling activities within shared Research and Innovation resources and ensuring efficient and effective operations.
You’ll guide key committees, including the Bridge Steering Committee, on resource needs and external opportunities, drive enterprise and innovation priorities and take the lead in tracking and reporting CATE’s performance metrics.
About you
You will bring proven experience of leading and managing teams in research or innovation settings, ideally within higher education or a research‑focused environment.
You’ll have hands‑on experience of running technical facilities – such as fablabs, production studios, or research and innovation labs – and a strong track record of driving strategic initiatives that deliver impact and enterprise.
Skilled in data analysis, reporting and briefing, you’ll use your knowledge of industry‑engaged research and innovation to bring stakeholders together and create solutions that deliver real societal benefit.
