About the RoleAs our Financial Controller, you’ll be integral to managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting. You'll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, playing a vital role in our continued growth and success. This position requires a proactive leader who can navigate challenges and implement effective financial strategies. Key Responsibilities• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budget preparation process, analyze variances from the budget, and consult with relevant departments to address discrepancies.• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.• Internal Controls: Design and implement effective financial controls to reduce risk and ensure data integrity.• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor members of the finance team, promoting a culture of efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to align financial goals with business strategy, providing insights and recommendations grounded in financial analysis.
