What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons aligned with the Ivanhoe Instructional Model: Warm Up – New Learning – Dive In – Reflect
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and promote agency
• Monitor progress through formative and summative assessment; provide meaningful feedback
• Foster strong, respectful relationships to support student wellbeing and learning
• Collaborate with curriculum leaders and colleagues to maintain high-quality teaching practice
• Participate actively in co-curricular programs and whole-school initiatives

What You Bring

• Recognised teaching qualification:
• Bachelor of Education (Secondary), or
• Bachelor's Degree + Postgraduate Diploma in Education / Master of Teaching
• Experience in improving student outcomes through evidence-based strategies
• Familiarity with contemporary educational practices and child safety standards
• Confident use of educational technologies
• Inclusive, student-centred mindset and commitment to holistic development
• Collaborative, reflective approach to teaching and professional learning
• Alignment with Ivanhoe Grammar School’s vision and values

Desirable

• Expertise in Mathematics and/or English
• Familiarity with AITSL Teaching Standards and instructional coaching models
