Interconnection Engineer / Manager - Renewable Energy

Are you a power systems or interconnection professional looking to grow your impact in the renewable energy space?
We're partnering with a leading utility-scale renewable energy developer to find an Interconnection Engineer or Manager (title DOE) to help drive the successful development of solar, wind, and battery storage projects across the U.S.
⚠️ This is a full-time, in-office role based in Texas. Relocation is required and supported.
🔋 What You'll Be Doing:
* Lead or support the interconnection process from application through NTP for utility-scale renewable energy projects
* Review, submit, and manage interconnection applications (ISOs/RTOs, utilities)
* Conduct or coordinate technical studies: load flow, short circuit, and stability analyses
* Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to evaluate grid capacity, transmission risks, and timelines
* Represent projects in stakeholder and utility meetings as needed
🎯 What We're Looking For:
* 3-10+ years of experience in interconnection engineering, grid integration, or transmission planning
* Experience with renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS strongly preferred)
* Familiarity with ISO/RTO interconnection processes (e.g., CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, PJM)
* Hands-on experience with power systems tools like PSSE, PSLF, PowerWorld, or similar
* Strong communication and project management skills
