H-2B Seasonal Catering Chef (Out-of-Country Applicants Welcome)

Lemon Press is a wellness-focused café and dynamic catering company located in the heart of Nantucket Island. We specialize in both full-service private events and small-scale drop-off catering. Our approach combines elevated hospitality with seasonal, nourishing menus. We’re currently hiring a Catering Chef through the H-2B Visa Program (for out-of-country applicants) to join our team for the upcoming season.Job Description:
As a Catering Chef, you will play a key role in preparing and executing a range of catering formats—from elegant private dinners to packaged drop-off meals. In addition to your core catering duties, you will be cross-trained in other BOH positions (prep, line, or production kitchen) to ensure full-time hours and a well-rounded experience throughout the season. Responsibilities:

• Execute food preparation and production for catering events and drop-off orders
• Lead on-site event cooking, setup, and breakdown
• Accurately package and organize small catering deliveries
• Support other kitchen stations during non-event days (prep, line, smoothie, or production)
• Maintain food safety standards, cleanliness, and organization
• Represent Lemon Press with professionalism at client-facing events
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH teams

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience, including catering or events
• Reliable, organized, and adaptable to a variety of kitchen roles
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Conversational English preferred; bilingual is a plus
• Must be available and eligible to process for an Out-of-Country H-2B Visa

Visa Sponsorship:
This position is open to out-of-country candidates applying under the H-2B Seasonal Worker Visa Program. We will guide you through the visa application process. Applicants must be available to work the full contract period. What We Offer:
