• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify faults
• Perform repairs including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
• Use hand tools and power tools to carry out maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
• Replace worn or damaged parts with precision and attention to detail
• Carry out heavy lifting when handling vehicle components or parts requiring extra effort
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Assist in the general upkeep of the workshop environment, ensuring cleanliness and organisation

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with previous experience in vehicle maintenance or repair preferred
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are advantageous but not essential
• Physical fitness suitable for handling heavy components and working in a workshop environment
