Four Decades of Faith, Learning and Legacy South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is a leading independent coeducational Christian school located in Waikiki, within the City of Rockingham, Western Australia. We serve students from six months old in childcare through to Year 12 graduation, creating a truly continuous learning journey.
Our College exists to:
  • Raise students who are well prepared, grounded in faith, and equipped to positively influence their world
  • Foster academic excellence and nurture character development
  • Live out the values of authenticity, integrity and service

Located just five minutes from the coast and 40 minutes from Perth by car or public transport, SCBC offers both career fulfilment and lifestyle balance in a supportive Christian community.
Our HeritageIn March 2025, South Coast Baptist College proudly celebrated 40 years of Christ-centred education — a milestone that reflects our unwavering commitment to faith, community and transformation.
Our story began in 1985 when:
  • Six founding families from Rockingham Baptist Church came together with a shared vision
  • They started the school with nothing more than a hired hall
  • Today, SCBC has over 1,400 students and a thriving Christ-centred culture

Earlier this year, those founding families joined us on campus to commemorate our journey. Their presence reminded us of where we started and reaffirmed the values that still guide us today.
We are unapologetic in our faith because:
  • It permeates our leadership, classrooms and culture
  • It attracts the right people — those called to serve, lead and love with purpose

If you're seeking not just a role, but a mission, you'll find it here.
