Requirements

• Canadian Registered Nurse license
• NCLEX passed
• Canadian citizenship

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough resident assessments and provide ongoing daily care for older adults with chronic conditions, mobility limitations, or cognitive impairments.
• Implement individualized care plans, administer routine medications safely, and monitor residents’ long-term health trends and responses to treatment.
• Identify changes in baseline functioning, promptly escalate concerns, and collaborate closely with nursing leadership, physicians, therapists, and the broader interdisciplinary team.
• Support residents and families by providing education on chronic conditions, medications, and care routines, helping them navigate long-term health needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, treatments, and resident outcomes while adhering to infection-control, safety, and LTC regulatory standards.
