Consultant Anaesthetist - Wagga Wagga, AU

Global Medics are exclusively partnering with Murrumbidgee Local Health District to assist in filling a Consultant Anaesthetist /Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics role based in Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.

There will be a new Pain Clinic opening in Wagga Wagga and it's possible to do a split between Pain Managment and Anaesthetics.

Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is the largest referral hospital within Greater Southern Area Health Service and one the busiest rural referral hospitals in NSW. It has 325 beds and provides medical, surgical, orthopaedic, psychiatric and paediatric inpatient services in addition to 24-hour emergency care. The hospital also provides a range of allied health services including pharmacy, physiotherapy, social work, dietetics and speech pathology.

Salary Packaging

$262,000 - $355,000 per year, plus an additional remuneration via penalty loading (working afterhours/weekends/public holidays), TESL entitlements approx. $39,000

Requirements

• Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
