Veterinarian, DVM Vancouver, BC Vancouver Animal Wellness Animal Hospital in Vancouver, BC is currently welcoming a Veterinarian to join our team of highly engaged and professional veterinary professionals. In this role, you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets. You understand the importance of collaborating with the pet-owner and the support team to provide the best care possible to your patient. You are confident in operating various medical equipment and performing medical procedures; physical examinations, immunization and surgery. You pride yourself on providing expert patient care! About the Hospital Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital offers a unique mix of conventional veterinary medicine, and alternative therapies like acupuncture, veterinary spinal manipulation therapy, and holistic therapies. Our veterinarians receive excellent support from a team of three veterinary technologists, three veterinary assistants and three amazingly skilled client care specialists. As our ideal Candidate, you have:

• A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
• Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.
• Excellent dentistry skills, as well as a strong interest in this area of practice
• Strong leadership skills combined with a positive team player attitude to enable our teams to flourish
• Exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clients
• Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community
• A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
• An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
• Certification (or a demonstrated interest in furthering your education) in Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulation Therapy or Rehabilitation
• A love for all companion animals!
