Job Description:
Begin date: 5/15/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 1 Job Duties: The worker will perform routine maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of diesel-powered agricultural machinery and equipment owned and used by the employer in its farming operations. Duties include identifying mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and schematics; removing, repairing, assembling, and reinstalling mechanical components; and ensuring equipment is maintained in safe and proper operating condition to support ongoing agricultural activities. Equipment serviced includes tractors, harvest and silage equipment, irrigation and field equipment, and other farm machinery used in crop production, field preparation, harvesting, irrigation, and manure application. All work is performed on-site and is limited to machinery and equipment used exclusively by the employer. The worker will conduct preventative maintenance, respond to mechanical breakdowns during peak seasonal periods, and complete necessary repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of farm operations. Tasks are incidental to and in direct support of the employer’s agricultural production and are not performed for the public or for any third party. Work hours may vary based on weather conditions and seasonal agricultural needs. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level II Experienced LevelPursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level II Experienced Level, indicating that the job requires prior related experience, independent judgment in performing recurring tasks, and the ability to work with limited supervision. The employer reserves the right to withhold the applicable housing deduction as permitted under program regulations, when approved and disclosed in the job order. Number of Hours Per Week: 50 Work Schedule (Start/End time): 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
