Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and innovative Creative Director to lead our creative team and shape the visual and conceptual direction of our growing B2B services. This role is pivotal in supporting British fashion and lifestyle brands as they enter and expand into East Asian markets, specifically China, Japan, and South Korea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing compelling, culturally relevant campaigns, overseeing design and content creation, and ensuring that all creative outputs align with client growth objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence brand identity, drive commercial success, and build and develop our creative function as the business expands. Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall creative strategy in line with company objectives, ensuring campaigns are culturally relevant and commercially effective for the East Asian market.
  • Campaign Execution: Lead the creative development, visual direction, and execution of integrated advertising and brand campaigns across digital and offline channels for UK clients entering China, Japan, and South Korea.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise directly with client brands to define target audiences, understand campaign objectives, and present/pitch creative proposals and design directions.
  • Team Management: Lead, inspire, and manage a team of designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists. Support the future recruitment and development of additional creative personnel as required by business growth.
  • Media Strategy: Determine appropriate media and activation strategies, including online advertising, social platforms, influencer collaborations, and offline brand activations, ensuring cost-effective implementation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor campaign performance using sales data, engagement metrics, and market feedback, revising strategies accordingly to optimise commercial outcomes.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of developments in digital media trends, advertising formats, consumer behaviour, and platform changes across East Asia to keep the organisation at the forefront of innovation.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required
  • Education: A degree or equivalent professional qualification in Advertising, Creative Direction, Media, Fashion Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Senior-level experience in advertising, creative direction, or brand campaign leadership, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or related creative industries.
  • Language & Cultural Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in English and another East Asian language, complemented by strong cross-cultural market knowledge of East Asia.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating innovative design work, excellent storytelling, and the ability to translate brand identity into culturally relevant advertising proposals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with digital content tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and pitching skills, together with strong team management and mentoring ability.
