You must be committed and reliable and have clean truck drivinglicence.Location: Within Auckland Wide RegionNumber of positions for this job: 01Employment Type: Permanent Full TimeMinimum guaranteed hours of work per week: 30 HoursDays Required: Monday to Saturday (including nights) (flexible hours)Hourly Rate: $ 30 per hourYour duties will include but not limited to:- Safely operate trucks to transport and deliver the various materials todifferent constructions sites (within Auckland area)- Adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.- Load and unload materials using the system and devices- Ensuring the health and safety regulations are met- Plan route effectively to optimize the fuel efficiency and meet delivery schedules- Completing the required paperwork- Performing pre and post trip safety check on equipment and truck to ensure safetravel- Be responsible for any spillage caused on the road or anywhere while driving, driverneeds to make sure this is cleaned up & reported.- Monitor vehicle system and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to theappropriate personAn ideal candidate must have:- One year of experience- Heavy Truck Driving Licence- Strong Health & Safety focus & adherence to all H&S procedures- Physically fit and Willingness to follow standard operating procedures- Time management skills and ability to work unsupervised- Availability to do the night shifts- Committed and reliable- Pass the drug test- No criminal recordsInitial training will be provided to the right candidate.If you can demonstrate the above attributes then we would like to hear from you.
