Job Description:
The company provides full relocation support, including immigration assistance, and offers a relocation bonus upon arrival in Montreal. Selected candidates may work remotely during the initial months while their immigration process is being completed; however, the long-term expectation is for the individual to transition to onsite work in Montreal once relocation has been finalized.Requirements & Systems EngineeringCapture stakeholder functional, performance, environmental, and security requirements.Conduct workshops and trade studies to define mission needs.Translate mission objectives into system-level requirements with full traceability.Define and manage spacecraft, payload, and ground-segment interfaces (ICDs, data flows).CONOPS & Mission AnalysisDevelop and maintain the Concept of Operations (CONOPS) covering all mission phases.Produce supporting artifacts (timelines, scenarios, flow diagrams).Perform mission modeling and analysis (orbit, coverage, link budget, resources).Evaluate architectural trade-offs (orbit, constellation, payload) across cost, risk, and performance.Integration, Verification & Program SupportDevelop verification plans, test matrices, and validation procedures.Support system integration, IVV activities, and operational readiness.Present technical results at key reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, ORR).Maintain configuration control within PLM tools.Support B&P activities and technology roadmapping.Operations & On-Orbit SupportSupport mission operations during critical phases.Monitor telemetry, analyze performance, and update models/CONOPS as missions evolve.Assist with contingency handling, SOOH development, and operator training.Leadership & CollaborationLead trade studies and coordinate cross-functional teams.Communicate risks and technical status to management and customers.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.QualificationsB.Sc. in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or Physics with 8+ years in LEO/MEO mission planning & operations.Strong foundation in systems engineering, orbit mechanics, and space environment.Hands-on integration and troubleshooting experience.Experience with Confluence and JIRA.Strong analytical, communication, and independent working skills.English required; French is an asset.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
