Jacksdale Medical Centre is looking to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to our inclusive, well-established practice for 4 sessions per week.
Located in the heart of Jacksdale village, we serve a list size of approximately 4,400 patients. Our close-knit team includes 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, 5 Care Navigators and 2 Medical Secretaries. We are further supported by a comprehensive range of PCN ARRS roles, including a Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, FCP, GPA, Mental Health Nurse, Diabetic Specialist Nurse, Housebound Care Coordinator and a Midwife.
We provide high-quality care through 15-minute appointments and are currently introducing innovative triage models tailored to our practice needs. You will be supported by digital tools including SystmOne, accurx, Abtrace, iGPR and Heidi AI scribe software, enhancing workflow and documentation.
The role offers: • 15-minute appointments with a focus on safe, high-quality care • 13 patient contacts per session: including 3 GP follow-ups in the morning and a 30-minute home visit slot in the afternoon • Dedicated admin time and protected breaks built into the day • Morning clinics run with a mid-session break; the full working day is 9:00am to 6:30pm, with a break between morning and afternoon sessions • 4 sessions per week • 2 CPD sessions per month pro rata (as per BMA contract), including our monthly Protected Learning Time on the 4th Wednesday • Occasional optional Saturday extended access shifts (approx. once every 2-3 months, shared across the PCN) • Opportunities to contribute to coil and implant clinics, joint injections and future minor surgery clinics (pending premises update) • A full induction and mentorship period to ensure you feel supported from day one.
