PeopleSoft Functional Analyst PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM is responsible for analyzing, configuring, and supporting the PeopleSoft HCM application to meet business requirements. This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, designing solutions, configuring the system, testing, and providing ongoing support. Key skills include strong knowledge of PeopleSoft modules, business processes, and system configuration.
Key Responsibilities:- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into functional requirements for the PeopleSoft HCM system.
Configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft modules, including setup tables, security, and workflow.
Designing and documenting solutions that address business requirements, often involving fit-gap analysis and system modifications.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
Developing test plans, test scripts, and test cases to ensure the system functions as expected, including user acceptance testing.
Providing ongoing support for the PeopleSoft HCM system, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the system meets user needs.
Creating and maintaining documentation related to system configuration, business processes, and user guides.
Working with developers, other analysts, and business users to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of the system.
Required Skills and Experience:
- PeopleSoft Expertise: Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM modules (e.g., Base Benefits, eBenefits, Benefit Administration, Payroll).
- Business Process Knowledge: Understanding of HR processes and how they are supported by PeopleSoft.
- Functional Analysis Skills: Ability to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design solutions.
- Technical Skills: Experience with PeopleSoft configuration, setup tables, and security.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Experience with test planning, script development, and execution.
- Documentation: Ability to create clear and concise documentation.
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2: Ideally, experience with the latest PeopleSoft version and updates (PUM images).
- SQL and PS Query: Experience with querying and analyzing data in PeopleSoft.
