About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes
• Assist in menu planning and development
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
• Manage stock, ordering, and minimise wastage
• Supervise and train kitchen staff as required
• Ensure efficient kitchen operations during service

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant qualification at least equivalent to an Australian Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher; or
• At least 3 years of full-time relevant work experience may substitute for formal qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in Indian cuisine
• Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
• Sound understanding of food safety standards
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Information (LMT Requirement)The salary for this position is between $73,150 and $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, which is in line with market rates for this occupation in Western Australia.
