Position: Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Small Animal Cardiology
Location: City of Edinburgh

UE08 (£50,253 - £61,759)- UE09 (£63,606 - £78,469) per annum (Depending on experience) CMVM / Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies / Hospital for Small Animals Full-Time: 35 hours per week Fixed Term: 9 months Maternity Cover We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Cardiology who will assist in providing a referral level Small Animal Cardiology Service, contribute to teaching efforts, and support the development of the Cardiology Service within a multidisciplinary environment.The OpportunityThe Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is seeking a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Small Animal Cardiology based within the Hospital for Small Animals on Easter Bush Campus. The role involves clinical teaching of final year undergraduate students and working in a multidisciplinary team covering internal medicine, oncology, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, emergency and critical care. The salary for this post starts at £50,253 (UE08) or £63,606 (UE09) per annum according to experience, plus a Market Force Supplement (currently 8%).Your skills and attributes for success
  • A degree in veterinary medicine and registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons at appointment.
  • Boarded (UE09) or board eligible (UE08) for ECVIM-CA (cardiology) or ACVIM (cardiology).
  • Extensive experience within a multi-disciplinary referral and teaching centre.
  • Extensive experience in cardiology interventional procedures.
  • Appropriate English language certificate.
