Job Description:
R.S.M.C. Services, on behalf of our client, We are seeking two full-time Dentists  to join our FQHC clinic in Fortuna, California. The clinic serves a predominantly Medicaid patient population, with approximately 80 to 90% of patients covered by Medicaid. The ideal candidates will have a passion for serving both adult and pediatric patients in a community health setting.

Location: Crescent City, CA , Eureka, CA, Fortuna, CA Position: Dentist (FTE) and Mobile Dentist (FTE)Patient Demographics: 80-90% Medicaid, 50/50 adults and kids
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including but not limited to exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals as needed.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Compensation: Guaranteed Based on years of experience
  • Sign-on bonus: $15k sign-on bonus and $25k relocation assistance.
    • Generous PTO: 15 days, plus 5 education days/year and 9 paid holidays
      • Housing stipend: $1500/month (Crescent City only)
        • Loan Repayment: Up to $400k over 5 years.
          • In-house residency program ( 80% retention rate)
            • Retirement plans: 401(k), a 403(b) and a 457(b)
              • Additional allowances: $5k provider allowance

                  Qualifications:
                  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
                  • Current and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in California.
                  • DEA registration.
                  • Strong commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to underserved populations.
                  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
                  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
                  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
