Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets, developing innovative solutions, and supporting various projects to optimise organisational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in data analysis, database management, and project management to contribute to strategic decision-making processes within the organisation. Duties
  • Analyse large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Power BI to derive actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to support business reporting needs.
  • Design, implement, and optimise databases with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and utilise database design principles.
  • Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify process improvements and develop technical specifications.
  • Create detailed process diagrams and documentation using Visio to facilitate understanding across teams.
  • Develop customised scripts and automation using VBA and Bash (Unix shell) to streamline workflows.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective project management techniques ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet organisational needs.

Skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in business analysis and database design principles.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies for software development projects.
  • Ability to develop automation scripts using VBA and Bash (Unix shell).
  • Excellent analysis skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Competence in creating visual documentation with Visio.
