Chef de Partie – Italian RestaurantPostino Osteria – Summer Hill
A vibrant neighbourhood Italian osteria with a 136-seat capacity, offering classic snacks, daily specials, house-made pasta, and a curated Italian wine cellar.Vineria Luisa – Enmore
A contemporary Italian wine bar and restaurant, focused on small plates, regional Italian flavours, and a strong cocktail and wine offering.Successful candidates may work across both venues depending on business needs and roster requirements.The RoleAs a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in maintaining high kitchen standards, supporting menu development, and delivering consistent, high-quality Italian cuisine in a fast-paced environment.Trading days:
7 days per week (mostly dinners, with lunch service Friday–Saturday-Sunday)Employment types:

  • Preparing and presenting dishes to venue standards
  • Assisting with menu planning, tastings, and recipe development
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene compliance
  • Supporting staff training and kitchen development
  • Assisting with cost control and stock management
  • Working collaboratively across multiple venues when required

Essential Requirements
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Fluent English
  • 1–3 years’ experience and/or Diploma in Hospitality
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and professional presentation
  • Availability for weekends and public holidays

Preferred (Not Essential)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Fresh pasta-making experience
  • Italian cuisine knowledge
