Wat ga je doen?
You are the main point of contact for engineering within SodaStream NLC. You lead the engineering team and report directly to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager. In this dynamic environment, you ensure optimal performance of our CO₂ refilling and distribution operations, as well as packaging services for the European market. You are hands-on, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Safety First: Maintain a safe, compliant work environment; proactively manage risks; implement SodaStream standards (MSDS, PPE).
• Operations & Projects: Optimize processes for efficiency and cost; lead equipment upgrades and automation initiatives; manage external partners, permits, and spare parts; organize training for new systems.
• Technical Expertise: Create and interpret, CAD/SolidWorks drawings; calculate project ROI; read mechanical/electrical schematics; lead FAT & SAT processes with HQ.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and develop the engineering team; handle HR matters including performance, training, and recruitment.
• Additional Duties: Ensure high standards of workplace organization; report KPIs; support QESH safety and environmental programs.

Are you a decisive Engineering Supervisor who is not afraid to make clear decisions while staying approachable? You elevate engineering support with a sharp eye for process optimization and collaboration. Additionally, you bring the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the FMCG, industrial hygiene experience is a plus.
• Strong technical skills (CAD/SolidWorks, mechanical/electrical drawings) and project management expertise.
• Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is an advantage.
