Salary: AUD $97,500 – $167,700 per annum + productivity bonus

Relocation: UK to Australia (Full relocation support provided) Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting an experienced Sonographer for a permanent, full-time role based in Perth, Australia. Relocation Support Sanctuary Personnel offers full relocation assistance for UK Sonographers moving to Australia, including:

The Role – Sonographer As a Sonographer, you will deliver high-quality ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, privacy, and clinical accuracy at all times. You will work collaboratively with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to provide timely and reliable diagnostic imaging services. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations in line with clinical protocols and professional standards
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality diagnostic images across relevant scanning areas
  • Interpret referral requests and obtain appropriate clinical history
  • Ensure patient dignity, confidentiality, and informed consent
  • Maintain efficient daily workflow and clinic productivity
  • Identify equipment issues and follow appropriate reporting procedures
  • Participate in quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement activities
  • Support and collaborate with colleagues, trainees, and junior staff where appropriate

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification Sonographer experience in the UK
  • Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
  • Eligibility for ASAR accreditation (or willingness to obtain with support)
  • High level of technical competency and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

Desirable Experience
  • General ultrasound (abdomen, small parts, gynae, breast)
  • Obstetric ultrasound at qualified levels
  • Basic vascular ultrasound experience
  • Willingness to participate in professional development and CPD
