An excellent opportunity is available for a Consultant Anaesthetist to join a well-established regional health service in South Australia, offering a broad and well-supported perioperative environment.This role provides exposure across elective and emergency theatre lists, pre-admission and perioperative assessment, procedural sedation and collaborative inpatient care. You will be part of a growing regional service with strong clinical demand, offering both variety and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to service delivery.This position is well suited to Anaesthetists seeking a long-term role with clinical diversity, involvement in teaching and the ability to develop influence within a regional hospital setting.The Hospital
You will be joining a key regional referral hospital supporting a wide and diverse catchment across South Australia, including rural and remote communities.Hospital capability includes:• Broad perioperative services supporting multiple surgical specialties
• Emergency and acute surgical services
• Strong links with tertiary referral centres across South Australia
• Modern clinical facilities with ongoing investment and redevelopment
• Established multidisciplinary collaboration across surgical, medical and critical care teams
