Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Health Care Assistant role exists to provide support to patients and their whanau while working alongside nursing staff and members of the multidisciplinary team. The Health Care Assistant will support our inpatients with a focus on promoting health and well-being while encouraging independence where appropriate during their recovery journey.
The ideal candidate will have: - Level 3 NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- A good understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Cultural Safety
- Respect for patient confidentiality is essential
The remuneration range for this role is $ 60,100.00 to $70,358.00 and is covered by the collective agreement: Nursing and Midwifery NZNO MECA (31 March 2023 - 31 October 2024). All candidates will be subject to police vetting and health screen
