Physiotherapist Level 1 / 2 Full Time PhysiotherapistJoin the fast-growing Infinity Physiotherapy Services team in Dubbo and contribute to the wellbeing of the community with a mixed caseload of community patients and musculoskeletal and rehab patients in the clinic. For more information visit https://www.infinityphysiotherapy.com.au Key Responsibilities and Role:Duties of a physiotherapist in accordance with the practice policies and procedures:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical abilities, functional status, and mobility.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each client and demonstrate ability to progress treatment and rehab plans overtime.
  • Engage clients in discussion regarding treatment planning and goal setting to understand areas that need to be focussed and improved on.
  • Progress patients from their current situation and progress them to a higher functional status.
  • Upgrading or downgrading functional and mobility aids for clients depending on their process with physiotherapy.
  • Assess and treat patients both in the clinic and in the community and help improve their quality of life and wellbeing.
  • Provide a range of physiotherapy services such as hands-on therapy, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to promote recovery, independence, and overall well-being of the patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and support networks to ensure holistic care and continuity of treatment.
  • Communicate with relevant multi-disciplinary team regarding patient progress
  • Collaborate with other in-house physios and team members to ensure best practise and maximum patient improvement possible.
  • Manage a varied caseload – community based and musculoskeletal in clinic.
  • Complete patient reports in a timely efficient manner.
  • Follow treatment protocols from surgeons and doctors if required.
  • Monitoring of Aids and Equipment; ensuring all is up to standard.
  • Ensuring you are up-to date with your schedule of appointments for the day/week.
  • Stay up-to date with industry trends and the best evidence-based practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Emailing completed reports to reception staff/case managers.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and experience for the clients as well as the team.
  • Maintain timely, accurate and up-to-date documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements to understand client’s improvement and journey with physiotherapy sessions and with yourself.

Relevant Qualifications and Requirements:For the role of Physiotherapist at Infinity Physiotherapy Services, the candidate is required to have the following qualification.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Limited registration may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing physiotherapy services to diverse client populations, preferably NDIS participants and aged care patients.
  • Evidence based practise approach.
  • Treat a wide variety of patients, including rehab patients from geriatric, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Both in the community and in clinic space.
  • Good clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • A compassionate and client-centered approach to care delivery.

As well as either have or willingness to obtain the following:
  • Professional indemnity insurance

  • Working with children’s check
  • Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.

  • Pay structure: Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 [MA000027]
  • Job type: Permanent Full-Time (preferred), Part-time (considered), Casual (considered)
  • Visa sponsorship considered for the right candidate.
  • Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year plus superannuation (12%)
  • Expected hours: 38 per week.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

  • Dubbo and surrounding region
  • In person.
