Job SummaryInteract with members in a professional manner to provide information in response to inquiries about services, requests for services and to resolve complaints. Interact with job applicants and government agencies to facilitate the employment process on behalf of MPAS members. Cooperate and work with MPAS personnel and board of directors to accomplish Mountain Plains Agricultural Service’s mission statement. The diversity of this role requires this position be involved in many aspects of the company and will be a key part of a small team.
Essential Job Functions: - Conduct job function in a professional and friendly manner.
- Communicate in both Spanish and English, written and verbal.
- Perform tasks as assigned that facilitate services offered by association.
- Maintain current and working knowledge of services offered, procedures fee schedule, processing times, H-2A visa program and association operations. This function includes both interoffice and government agencies.
- Work as part of a team for the purpose of facilitating open communication, productivity and efficiency of tasks.
- Maintain general filing system, both paper and electronic, and association databases and information management system.
- Assist in identifying deficiencies in operations and take the initiative in developing solutions.
- Multitask and manage time to meet deadlines set by the employment process and supervisor.
Key Job Tasks- Receive member requests by telephone or email, analyze requests, provide information requested and/or route requests to the proper person.
- Resolve member questions related to the employment process and take service requests as needed.
- Contact customers in response to requests and ascertain data omitted from customer requests.
- Conduct qualification interviews for both domestic and foreign applicants.
- Welcome/Receive visitors entering the MPAS offices professionally and politely.
- Complete the requisite government forms, accurately.
- Work with multiple governmental agencies, contractors and foreign offices to facilitate employment process.
- Collate and compile mailings to government agencies and association members.
- Write professional correspondence and reports for purposes, to include but not limited to, employee evaluation, board review, disseminating member information and replying to government agencies.
- Input data, analyze transactions, correct records and adjust errors.
- Receive and file incoming correspondence and documents, electronically and/or via hard copy.
- Work with various computer programs to maintain accurate information and data. To include but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Adobe (Acrobat, Reader) and Outlook.
- Complete various special projects and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
