Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in the kitchen, leading your team to create delicious dishes that reflect our restaurant’s ethos and standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu items that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety are maintained at all times.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in planning special events or catering services as required.

Skills
  • Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary arts.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Creative flair for menu development and presentation of dishes.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
