Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: but not limited to · Plan diverse and innovative menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage food supply orders.· Oversee the quality of dishes at every stage of preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards are consistently met.· Collaborate with managers, dietitians, kitchen, and waiting staff to discuss food preparation and service strategies.· Demonstrate techniques and provide guidance on cooking procedures to team members.· Prepare and cook a wide range of cuisines, including fusion dishes.· Ensure all hygiene and food safety regulations are strictly followed.· Select and train kitchen staff as required to maintain a skilled and motivated team.· Freeze and preserve food items following standard procedures.· Adhere to and promote all health and safety protocols within the kitchen environment.
