About the roleBuildsmart WA Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our team in Perth, WA. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing brick structures, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and great benefits.What you'll be doingLaying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, and other structureReading and interpreting plans, and specifications to ensure accurate placement of bricks and other materialsMeasuring, cutting, and shaping bricks and blocks to fit specific requirementsMaintaining a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocolsReporting directly to the supervisor with strong communication skills to complete works with little oversightProviding high-quality workmanship and attention to detail on every projectWhat we're looking forMinimum 3 years of experience as a Bricklayer, with a strong understanding of Western Australian masonry construction techniques and construction codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specificationsProficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as masonry equipmentStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to overcome challenges on the jobExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with other tradesCurrent construction industry training and qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Bricklaying/BlocklayingWhat we offerAt Buildsmart WA Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
