Consultant General Physician | Tertiary Referral Centre | Northern Territory
The Opportunity
We are working closely with a major tertiary referral hospital in the Northern Territory and are keen to connect with FRACP General Physicians interested in a full-time role offering clinical breadth, acuity and meaningful impact.
The General Medicine service manages complex acute presentations across a vast regional and remote catchment. Physicians practise broad-scope medicine within a high-acuity environment, supported by established subspecialty teams and critical care services.
This role will appeal to General Physicians seeking intellectual challenge, diverse pathology and the opportunity to contribute to a culturally and geographically unique healthcare setting.
The Hospital
This is the principal tertiary referral hospital for the Northern Territory, delivering comprehensive secondary and tertiary services.

Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – General Medicine
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
- International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
