Panel Beater/Spray Painter

About Us:We are a well-established used car dealership and repair garage based in Croydon, committed to delivering high-quality vehicle repair and reconditioning services. We are now looking for an experienced and skilled Panel Beater / Sprayer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Panel Beating:

• Assess damage to vehicles and repair or replace damaged body panels.
• Use various metalworking tools to restore bodywork to manufacturer standards.
• Realign chassis and frames using jigs, pullers, and hydraulic equipment.
• Carry out minor welding and filler work where required.

Vehicle Spraying:

• Prepare vehicles and panels for painting (sanding, masking, priming).
• Mix paint to match vehicle colour using paint codes.
• Apply base coats and clear coats using spray guns in a spray booth.
• Carry out polishing and finishing to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness of the spray booth and equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a panel beater and vehicle sprayer (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of body shop equipment, repair techniques, and refinishing processes.
• Ability to work on a variety of makes and models.
• Good attention to detail and ability to produce a high-quality finish.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
