Cook for temporary foreign workers (LMIA exempt)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated cooks and other hospitality staff to work outside of Quebec on temporary LMIA exempt work permits. You need to be bilingual and speak French and English. This role involves providing excellent food service, meal preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the food industry, supporting the needs of our diverse clientele. Candidates should have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food handling and restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
• Handle food safely according to established health standards
• Support meal preparation activities, including portioning, plating, and garnishing
• Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy service hours

Skills

• Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or related roles within the food industry
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal assembly processes
• Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Experience working in restaurants or food service establishments is preferred
• Attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness standards
