Client Acquisition & Business Development Manager to lead our growth strategy across Adelaide and greater South Australia.This is a pivotal role designed for a strategic NDIS professional who thrives on building high-value referral networks and ensuring seamless, compliant participant onboarding. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint while ensuring every new partnership aligns with the
NDIS Practice Standards and Duacare’s commitment to high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities1. Growth & Business Development- Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a robust growth strategy aligned with Duacare’s registered support categories.
- Network Building: Proactively cultivate and maintain referral pathways with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, Allied Health providers, and hospitals.
- Market Presence: Represent Duacare at networking events, disability expos, and community engagement forums across South Australia.
- Occupancy Management: Drive and maintain high occupancy levels for shared living (SIL) and daily support models.
- Reporting: Track referral trends and provide detailed growth and revenue KPI reports to the Directorship.
2. Client Acquisition & Intake- End-to-End Onboarding: Lead the participant journey from initial enquiry through to successful service commencement.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to match participant goals and funding with Duacare’s service offerings.
- Service Agreements: Ensure all service agreements are accurate, person-centered, and NDIS-compliant.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records within the CRM to track the intake pipeline.
3. Compliance & Quality Assurance- Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all onboarding processes meet the NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards.
- Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments, particularly for participants receiving 1:1 personal support or living in shared environments.
- Audit Readiness: Maintain documentation to a high standard in preparation for NDIS certification audits.
- Clinical Handover: Provide structured, detailed handovers to the operations and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care.
4. Relationship Management- Retention: Act as the primary point of contact during the transition phase to ensure a positive participant experience.
- Feedback Loops: Address early-stage concerns proactively and utilize participant feedback to drive continuous service improvement.
Selection CriteriaEssential- Experience: 2–5+ years in NDIS Business Development, Intake, or Service Coordination.
- NDIS Expertise: Deep understanding of the NDIS Act, Practice Standards, and South Australian disability landscape.
- Compliance Knowledge: Proven ability to navigate service agreements and registration conditions for personal support services.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of meeting growth targets.
- Credentials: Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Desirable- Previous experience preparing an organisation for NDIS Certification Audits.
- Background in Community Nursing or Shared Living (SIL) models.
- Proficiency in NDIS-specific CRM software.
