Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal regulations and internal standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programmes.
- Supervise compliance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure all team members understand their roles in maintaining compliance.
- Lead training sessions for employees on compliance-related topics, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability within the organisation.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, updating policies as necessary to remain compliant.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify potential risks and develop strategies for risk management.
- Prepare reports for senior management detailing compliance status, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements- Proven experience in a compliance role or related field, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of identifying potential compliance issues before they arise.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in law, business administration, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
